Who We Are

Hello Haftarah is composed of a team of parents, kids, rabbis, scholars and professionals, all dedicated to making it easier for families to understand and enjoy the b’nai mitzvah experience. I’m Marci, the founder, a Jewish mother, and a longtime entrepreneur.

I had the idea for Hello Haftarah while watching kids struggle with their portions. My video-producer husband and I put together a team and created the full library of all the b’nai mitzvah portions performed by amazing young scholars, all with karaoke-style subtitles in English and Hebrew. We’ve added many other b’nai mitzvah resources and will continue to add to the collection.

Thanks to everyone on the team, and special thanks to Rabbi Norman Cohen, Jeremy Budin, Hadar Havlini, and the amazing young performers who bring the videos to life.
